General Education courses

All University of Auckland students enrolled in a bachelors degree are obliged to take one or two General Education courses. You can search for available courses within your degree here.

BE(Hons) students are required to take one General Education course. The Faculty of Engineering expects its students to complete their General Education requirement in their first year of study.

Please note that Engineering students may not count courses from the Life Sciences, Physical Sciences or Mathematical and Information Sciences towards completion of the BE(Hons).
