Bachelor of Science Physics, Graduate Diploma Computer Science, Certificate Of Proficiency 8 courses with 2 Stage 3 and 6 postgraduate courses across physics, computer science and applied mathematics. All from The University of Auckland.

Biography

My focus is on combining Electronics Engineering, Computer Programming, Applied Mathematics and Physics to create interesting and practical systems. I am currently a Technician Engineer-Research and Design - Robotics in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, and have been in this position since April 2009. Prior to this, I worked as a Movement Neuroscience and Biomechanics Technician in the Exercise Science Department of the University of Auckland from March 2005.

Outside the University of Auckland, I am a solo Erhu and Bawu player for World of Wearable Art 2016. An Erhu is a Chinese two string violin, and a Bawu is a Chinese wind reed instrument.

  • Recipient of Best Paper Award Sliver Prize from International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC 2019) , with submitted paper named "System developed to enable scientific analysis on robot pollination algorithm for orchard robot research".
