Dr Tak Wing Yiu

BSc(1st Class Hons) in Quantity Surveying, PhD in Construction Management, MRICS, MASCE

Biography

Tak Wing (Kenneth) completed his BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying in 2001, and has worked in the field of quantity surveying before pursuing his PhD degree in construction management. On completion of his PhD in 2005, he joined the Department of Building and Construction, City University of Hong Kong, initially as Instructor II, but was promoted to Instructor I and Lecturer in 2006 and 2007 respectively. In July 2010, Kenneth joined the University of Auckland to take up the position of senior lecturer in Construction Management, within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Kenneth has been actively conducting research in the field of construction management. He is the author of 100 publications including 64 international refereed journal papers that have been published or accepted. Among these 64 journal papers, 47 of them are in the Science Citation Index (SCI) or Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) list.

He is also the reviewer of various international journals and was the Guest Editor of three special issues in the ASCE Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction.
