Engineering: Her Student Experience

An information evening for female high school students and their whānau to learn more about the diversity of study options in Engineering.

Every year, the Engineering: Her Student Experience evenings are held specifically for female high school students, their parents, and schools' careers advisers to showcase the work of women engineers at the University of Auckland. We also highlight our innovative approaches to teaching engineering, and provide an opportunity to meet our current Engineering students.

The aim of these evenings are to provide an overview of the vast range of engineering fields and job opportunities that come with them, as well as to encourage students to consider engineering as an exciting and fulfilling career option.

Attendees also have the opportunity to ask questions and mingle with current students from each of our nine specialisations over refreshments at the end of the evening. Come along and talk about what it's like to study engineering!
