Engineer Her Future

An information evening for female high school students and their parents, with presentations and networking to help with subject choices and making future study decisions.

Engineer her Future is an information evening for female high school students and their parents, featuring presentations and a networking session to help with subject choices and future study decisions.

Every year, the Engineer Her Future information evening is held specifically for high school girls, their parents and schools' careers advisers to showcase the work of women engineers at the University of Auckland, highlight innovative approaches to teaching engineering, and provide an opportunity to meet current engineering students.

The aim of this evening is to provide students with the right information to help with making decisions about subject choices and study decisions in the future.

Attendees also have the opportunity to ask questions and mingle with current students from each of our nine specialisations over refreshments at the end of the evening. Come along and talk about what it's like to study engineering!

If you're a Year 11 or 12 student interested in studying engineering at the University of Auckland, please feel free to come along! You can be at any other year level too, though the main aim of the evening is to help you with making decisions for Year 13 subject choices. It's also a great chance for you to find out more about engineering in general so you can see if it's the right pathway for you.
