The Women in Engineering Network (WEN) is a network that builds connections between women in engineering, allowing them to support and inspire each other.

 

How many women students does the Faculty of Engineering have?

The Faculty of Engineering has approximately 25% women students, the highest proportion in Australasia.

 

How do I join WEN?

WEN has a stand at the Engineering Clubs Expo as part of Orientation. You can find out more about the activities and support we offer, and get answers to any questions you may have. 

You can also join WEN at any time during the year by contacting the Women in Engineering Adviser and by joining the WEN Facebook group.

 

How much does it cost to join WEN?

It's free to join WEN!

However, some of our events will require payment to cover costs. We also produce a WEN t-shirt every year which we charge for to cover printing costs.

 

How do I find out about WEN events?

WEN advertises upcoming events on the WEN Noticeboard on Level 3 in the Engineering Cafeteria and in the WEN Facebook group
