A warm welcome to our new postgraduate students!

Orientation is an essential event, covering important information about your degree and the faculty support services for postgraduate students.

3:15-4.00pm: Postgraduate Engineering Faculty session, 401.439, Faculty of Engineering Building, 10 Symonds Street, City Campus.

This session will cover academic expectations, staff you need to know, upcoming events, and advice on accessing help and support.

4:00 – 4:30pm: Light refreshments will be served in the Neon Foyer outside the lecture theatre. Faculty academic and professional staff will be present to answer queries you may have.

Thursday, 12 July – Postgraduate Enrolment Assistance Session

If you would like assistance with enrolling in courses, drop by our computer lab where our Student Academic Advisors will be on hand to help. They can provide a range of advice from submitting concessions, to providing clarity about programme structure. Please note, if you need information on the academic content of a particular course, you will need to speak to your Postgraduate Course Adviser. In the meantime, if you have questions about enrolment processes, please email the Engineering Student Centre at foe-enquiries@auckland.ac.nz

09:00am-1.00pm: Postgraduate Enrolment Assistance, Computer Lab 401.312, Faculty of Engineering Building, 20 Symonds Street, City Campus.

 

Monday, 16 July - DELNA Screening

To ensure we are able to actively support you with any English language requirements we request that you complete a 30 minute Diagnostic English Language Needs Assessment (DELNA) screening. These take place in one of the University’s computer labs. Identifying areas for improvement at the earliest opportunity will be conducive to ensuring your academic success in our postgraduate programmes.
