Transportation Engineering

There is a major shortage of suitably trained professionals with skills in transportation engineering here in New Zealand and overseas.

Together with land transport industry professionals and the NZ Transport Agency, the Faculty of Engineering has established several specialised transportation engineering programmes.

Industry leaders are directly involved through national and regional liaison committees as well as making contributions to lecturing, assignments and research projects. The programmes are focused on developing a sound understanding of fundamental concepts, techniques and issues.
